For a limited time, buy VERA and receive a FREE Leviton Vizia RF 15A ON/Off Decora Switch
Built into a wireless WiFi access point, the system works to control lighting, appliances, thermostats and anything else that utilizes Z-Wave, as well as wireless or wired network cameras. Vera is also an energy conservation system that constantly tracks how much energy you are using. As lights are turned on or as appliances are used, Vera creates logs and calculates how much energy is being consumed. Vera can even contact you if you've left something turned on at home, like lights or the TV, and it allows you to turn them off with your internet connected mobile phone or from any web browser. Save by buying VERA 2! VERA 2 operates the same software suite as VERA 3. Most users of VERA will not notice appreciable processing speed differences between VERA 2 and VERA 3 especially if VERA will be a network client of your existing router and if multiple third party applications will not be used. Both engines are fully upgradeable to the latest MIOS 5.0.

Network Controller2
How to choose the right controller
Should I buy VERA II or VERA III.
Let us simplify the process. Currently VERA II is on promotion as the VERA III is now available. The specs are available in the product description for both. The VERA III boasts a faster processor, more memory and a wireless N WiFi capability.
Many users simply plug VERA into their existing network with an ethernet cable. Also many users will likely have only a handful of Z-wave components that need to be controlled and monitored by VERA. We suggest that you purchase the VERA that offers the features and benefits best suited to your application.
If you will be using the VERA as a wireless access point and other devices on your network operate at the wireless N speed AND/OR you will be installing more than 50 Z-wave devices to be controlled AND/OR you are a person that wants the most advanced controller even if many of its capabilities may not be needed then VERA III is the right VERA for you.
If you will be plugging VERA into your existing router using an ethernet cable AND/OR you will not be installing a high number of Z-wave devices AND/OR you are looking for the best controller for the buck, then VERA II is the right VERA for you.
Whichever VERA you choose, know that the included engine runs the same software suite and is upgradeable to the latest firmware to provide you with the latest experience that the Mi Casa Verde VERA has to offer.
