The IES Insteon Compatible Touch Screen Controller is designed to allow control of INSTEON enabled devices individually or collectively via a customizable 3.6 inch touch-sensitive LCD display. Now from one place you can brighten and dim individual INSTEON controlled lights, engage multiple INSTEON enabled devices in custom scenes and even manage scheduled events. With the included easy-to-use software, you can label each button on the display to identify the device or scene you wish for it to operate. Multiple scheduled events can be managed utilizing the user friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI). The touchscreen kit requires the Insteon Powerlinc Modem (included) and an RJ45 (cat 5) cable included with the kit as well.
Once programming is completed using a PC and the included IES Configuration Software, the touch screen will operate without the use of a computer. Programming is safe from power outages by way of an internal back-up battery.
USB ProgrammingThe EasyTouch controller is managed and configured by connecting the mini USB jack located at the top of the unit to a computer or laptop. The included IES software allows you to set up, manage, delete, and edit groups, scenes and indivual INSTEON devices easily.
INSTEON 2412S PLMThe INSTEON Compatible In-Wall Touch-Screen Controller communicates to all of the devices on an INSTEON network through the INSTEON PowerLinc Modem (included). By simply connecting the back of the INSTEON touch-screen controller to an INSTEON PLM via a single cat 5 cable, bi-directional information can be sent for communication and status. The 2412S also supplies power to the touch panel, so no additional power supply is required.
Configuration Software PackageIES Configuration Software (Download Here) comes included with each INSTEON-compatible touch-screen display. This PC-based SW package allows the user or installer to easily configure the touch panel. Utilizing the software, users and installers can define and customize buttons and labels for individual INSTEON devices as well as groups, scenes and schedules. Programming and configuration of the touch panel is broken up into five sections, including Modules, Scenes, Schedules, Location and Reports:
The In-Wall Touch Screen is also available in a table top version EasyTouch-S-TT and the table top version with a PLM EasyTouch-S-TT-PLM. Multiple touch screens can be installed to allow access to modules, scenes and schedules from multiple locations.
